SPONSORS/INVESTORS

Currently, PRIDE AFRICA enjoys the support of two financial sponsors: the International Development Research Centre (IDRC, Canada) and the Monsanto Fund (US charity). The specific interests of the two sponsors run parallel which results in more leverage for the project. IDRC's main interest is in a research-backed information exchange service for the small-scale entrepreneur and smallholder farmer; whereas Monsanto has an interest in the design and piloting of replicable farm savings and loans products.
